Dirty Blonde is the third album from The Bleeding Obvious, a long-awaited work which centres on life on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, as a middle-aged woman.

It's an activist's album - anger, sadness, love and joy all play a part in this work which has taken the best part of 8 years, but has become even more relevant than ever given the seismic backward shifts in the political landscape.

Themes include the Me-Too movement, transgender toilet panics, imposter syndrome, Pink-washing at Prides, and finding love as an out monogamous lesbian - and include studio versions of show favourites such as One Girl Girl, Colours With Pride, Can't Dance Don't Care, Acceptance and Five Years (Moving On).

It also features over 40 other musicians and spoken voices including guest spots from London's lesbian band The Advantages and barbershop singers Barberfellas. You'll find cameos too, from lots of other friends: activists, friends, performing pals, stage friends and even colleagues... far too many to name!
