'Swoon' is a unique collaboration between poet Ralph Dartford and The Bleeding Obvious.

I'm very pleased to announce I've been working with Ralph Dartford of A Firm Of Poets over the past few months to produce a new work of 14 spoken-word pieces, illustrated with music written and performed by myself. Telling the story of Waterloo Sunset's Terry and Julie, it explores love, addiction, escape and reconciliation through spoken word and music to 'dance, reflect, laugh and fall in love with'.

Ralph - who is a founder member of performance group A Firm Of Poets - was the voice behind "I, Human" on the debut album from The Bleeding Obvious, and I've been very pleased to work with him on this.

We'll be performing it for the first time on 2nd February 2017, supporting legendary Yorkshire band Hope&Social as part of their Feel Tour and we're very grateful to them for giving us such a great opportunity to launch the project in our hometown. Tickets are on sale now, you can grab yours at www.hepworthwakefield.org/hope-and-social.

A recorded edition will follow in the first half of 2017 together with a few festival appearances. Hope to see you there!

In the meantime, here's a taster with one of my favourites, Bob...
