First 2018 Tour Dates February 10, 2018
The first dates for the 2018 Rainbow Heart Tour have been announced - Geneviève, Helen and I are EVERYWHERE!
I'm very pleased to announce I will be touring my Rainbow Heart one-woman musical show around the country again in 2018, joined by my fab spoken-word friends Geneviève L Walsh and Helen Rhodes (The Thinking Chimp).
It all starts in Leeds on Tuesday 20th March at Wharf Chambers, where we shall kick things off with joyous abandon. From there we take in Nottingham, Bristol, all the way down South to Totnes in Devon, and around to Birmingham.
Not just that, but there are two special tie-in shows with LGBTQ+ festivals in July: we'll be performing in London during Pride Week 2018, and I'll be bringing Rainbow Heart to Brighton for a Trans Pride Sunday afternoon show.
Both Helen and Geneviéve will be joining me for many of the shows.
The first set of announced dates are:
...plus more to be announced throughout the year.
Ticket links are available from my gig guide.
Helen Rhodes (The Thinking Chimp): Dark, surreal, strange, insightful, edgy, with a squeeze of sarcasm and a large squirt of humour. Words about human beings, the odd and the oooh, life, real and unreal. Words about death, experientially and theoretically. Sometimes things rhyme, even when they’re not meant to at the time. Her work '52 Stories' will be released in Spring 2018.
Geneviéve L Walsh: Yorkshire-raised Londoner and writer of punk-song length poems about alienation, inebriation, pop music, and losers finding each other. She founded and currently hosts/coordinates Spoken Weird, is co-host of Stirred, is a member of the Afflecks Creatives team and was the first female core member of A Firm of Poets. Her début solo collection, The Dance of a Thousand Losers [Flapjack Press], was released in March 2017.
Hope to see you there!
